No. Once we design your website, you own it. We supply you with your website files and database (for WordPress sites) to take to another web designer. If we purchased the domain name for you, I always make your company the legal registrant.
You need three things:
A Domain Name – A domain name is what your visitors will type in the address bar to find you (for example: http://cooperdesigns.biz is my domain name). Although .com domain name is the most commonly used extension, many of the .com names have been used. There are many other extensions to choose from (.net, .biz, .org, .gov, .edu, .tv, etc). You can do a quick search for a domain name at www.instantdomainsearch.com.
A Web Hosting Company – A web hosting company is like your space that you lease for your business except it’s on the web. This is where all of your website files go.
A Professional Web Designer – Last but not least. I wouldn’t get your brother-in-law unless he does it professionally. Remember the old cheesy MySpace pages? You don’t want your website looking like that. I’m assuming you’re thinking of using us, and we are thankful that you are here.
You can have as many pages as you want. Some of the main pages you’ll want to consider are: Home, About Us, Products or Services, Contact Us, FAQ. In addition to these main pages, you’ll want some complimentary pages as well to enhance and expand on your main pages. For example, you may want to add a testimonial page or a page to describe a service in depth.
We could have an informational 5-10 page website done in a two weeks if you respond to my questions in less than 24 hours. Many of our websites have taken less than a month to complete because of timely correspondence. If you don’t respond to us, the website could take an indefinite amount of time.
This is the $64,000 question, but your website won’t cost you that much! I work within your budget. We will discuss your needs to find a solution that works for you.

Yes, your hosting company will give you the ability to set up email addresses under your own domain name. If you let us host your website, you can set up as many email addresses as you want.
